There ain't no cure for love...







In 2013 We saw the then 78-year old Leonard Cohen at the Montreux Jazz Festival and he was wonderful.

One of his songs "There Ain't No Cure for Love" we often listen to as background music. This morning it was playing as we sat in the Nice BnB. We were mumphing croissants picked up last night, a banana and drinking tea before going out to investigate the city and the Chagall museum.

Two lines struck us:

I need to see you naked
In your body and your thought

There has to be great trust to be naked in anyone's thoughts. To have so much confidence that there is emotional safety to a point a place to hide one's secrets is totally unnecessary. That is love.
