My dad used to send me a box of Florida oranges each Christmas. They were almost the size of grapefruit. They were extra good because the supply was limited.
I adore kaki fruit which is only available a couple of months a year. What a thrill to find it in the stores again last week.
It's delicate. The skin splits easily, thus making it delicate as well as a delicacy.
