Teapots and toilets

Rick stood at my bedroom door with that funny smile he gets when he is about to tease me. "I don't often get a chance to say this," he said.

The smile played all over his face.

What...? I couldn't imagine what he had in mind to warrant that grin.

"You left the toilet seat up."

I giggled. He is one of those men who usually put down the seat and I have never said anything one way or another, but the role reversal was interesting.

There was a logical explanation. I had used the toilet to empty the dregs and leaves from my teapot, which would make anyone looking at it before flushing that the person who used it before flushing was seriously ill.

Teapots and toilets...good amusements when one is bedded with a cold.
