Christmas cows and more

Switzerland is known for its cheese and to make cheese you need milk and to get milk cows are one way to do it.

Over the years we've had all kinds of life size decorated cows. For example the cow outside the bakery is painted with different types of bread. The cow above is outside the opthamologist and during the day often sports a pair of oversized glasses.

Cows can get decorated for Christmas. The yellow cow above is the Corsier Cow (town crest on her side) and stands outside the elementary school's Christmas tree.

Or maybe she's meant to be a reindeer with the pine branch antlers?

The Swiss don't decorate their houses like the Americans. I'm not sure what it means that they decorate their cows.

Speaking of cows this is a great youtube of a cow and a free tour of the country as well.
