Philby

In my grandmother's recipes cards I found this recipe for philby, which I never remember her making but I thought I'd try it.

1.5 cups soft cooked rice
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon sale
1 cup milk
1.5 tablesppons melted butter
2 beaten eggs

Mix ingredients thoroughly and bake in buttered 9 inch round pan in a preheated 450°F/232°C overn for 35 minute. Cut into wedge-shape pieces.

Okay for a side dish. We then experimented by adding to different wedges...nutmeg, cinnamon and melted cheese.
