Marrionniers is changing but just a little

We eat at "Marro" probably at least once a week taking advantage of their lunchtime special. We also select it for Thanksgiving, Easter and other important occasions. Their feast is so much easier than doing it ourselves.

Under new ownership for the past couple of years (same chef, but the grumpy owner is gone) we adore the manager Antonio, the wait staff of Fred, Mark, etc. We do miss some of those that have gone such as Mary Jo and Mohammed (whom we see regularly on the E Bus)

Yesterday at the bus stop outside the restaurant where the menu de jour was crevettes in a Thai sauce, there was a new sign on the back of the shelter. Antonio told us that it would also be the new place mats. The old place mats are on the round sign.

My housemate will be thrilled to see that on the new menu is a favourite tartare des saumon. And we hope next fall the pumpkin soup with truffle oil appears once again. I get hungry just thinking about it.
